Nelson Mandela Bridge

The Nelson Mandela Bridge in Zoetermeer connects the Driemanspolder and Rokkeveen districts and spans the A12 and the railway line from The Hague to Gouda. This bicycle and pedestrian bridge was opened in 1992. Architect Johan Bak designed the bridge in the colors yellow and blue from the municipal coat of arms of Zoetermeer.
